Gmail

Gmail recently started disabling some gmail accounts that they feel are in violation of their user policy. As redpill Agent send a lot of emails using a gmail account, gmail sometimes incorrectly flag these accounts as sending spam and disable them.

Please note that it is gmail that disable accounts and not redpill. redpill cannot disable your gmail account even if we tried.

You can prevent your account from being closed by not monitoring too many computers with one account.

If your account has been disabled, you have one of two options:

Option 1:

We can link redpill Agent to a new email address. We will only do this once for each customer as you usually need to purchase another license for another gmail address. Unfortunately you will need to install again. You will also need to make sure you don’t monitor too many computers as gmail might disabled your account again (The number of computer will depend on how much work is done on each computer).

If you choose option 1, please email us the new email address you want to use and the old email address and password of the account that is disabled (we will first confirm that it is disabled).

Note, if you go for option 1, the offer in option 2 will not apply to you.

Option 2:

You can convert to redpill Detective. redpill Detective is a superior product. The install application can bypass more anti-virus packages and two-way firewalls. It can also be remotely installed. It does not use gmail or any other email service. Data is viewed directly from your redpill account and there is even a live screen view. As data is stored on our server, we require a subscription payment instead of a once off payment. We will offer a 30% discount for all redpill Agent customers for their first year subscription for one computer.

redpill Agent was spy software that could be installed remotely. It was possible to remotely install the computer monitoring software, anywhere in the world, without the owner’s knowledge.

Unfortunately, it turned out, that this was too much power for some. We received reports that redpill Agent was being used illegally and maliciously. We also became aware of cases where redpill Agent was used to steal credit card information.

We (redpill) have decided to stop all sales of redpill Agent.

Our existing redpill Agent customers will still be able to log in and use the system but we will not create any new licenses. Existing customers can go to http://www.redpill.co.za and click on redpill Agent in the menu. They will be able to log in with the link at the bottom of the page.

redpill will continue to develop, sell and support redpill Spy and other computer monitoring products.
