Every now and then a customer or friend asks me why I chose redpill for a name for my company and website. What does a red pill have to do with spy software?

In the movie ‘The Matrix’, Morpheus offers Neo two options:
“You take the blue pill, the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.”

The terms blue pill and red pill have become popular metaphors for the choice between blissful ignorance (blue pill) and the (sometimes painful) truth (red pill).

I would never encourage any one to spy just because they are curious. But sometimes you know, without a doubt, that something is not right and you need to know the truth … you need to know that your life is not a lie.

In this blog I will be writing about redpill products, new versions and features. I will also add some tips and discuss issues that are raised by my customers.
